The Pagoda mechanical pencil features all the engineering quality that we have come to expect from TWSBI, at a very reasonable price.

TWSBI have made these pencils from a light but robust resin that is well balanced in the hand when writing or sketching, or engineering drawing. The TWSBI Pagoda mechanical pencil is equally at home in the schoolroom, lecture theatre, or in the workplace – or even at home!

As with its much-respected metal-bodied ‘big brother’, the Precision, the TWSBI Jr Pagoda mechanical pencil has a hexagonal cross-section that will not roll off even a sloping draughting board and allows a firm grip. The grip is further enhanced by the length of rubberised material that runs up each facet of the pencil’s body from a rim around the section, forming a pattern that may have given the ‘Pagoda’ its name.

The clip, section, pipe and push-button of the TWSBI Pagoda mechanical pencil are in chrome. The pipe is fixed, preventing any side-play when drawing accurately, and the lead (available in 0.5mm or 0.7mm) is extended by means of the push button. This button conceals the eraser, as with many mechanical pencils, but on the TWSBI Pagoda mechanical pencil this eraser is of extra length so you won’t need to be fiddling about replacing it every few weeks.
