Tom’s Studio – The Wren

The Wren is the infinitely refillable writing pen.

We’ve been stocking, and indeed, promoting Tom’s Studio at Write Here for some time. Their pens use high quality materials and are very sustainable. The Lumos range by Tom’s is one that is extremely popular with artists, you can create some beautiful artwork with just one pen, due to the replaceable drawing tips and, like with The Wren, infinitely refillable with fountain pen ink.

The Wren by Tom’s Studio is all about writing, so there’s no need to swap over any tips. The pen is fitted with a Japanese-made writing tip which produces a 0.3-0.5mm width depending on how much pressure you put down on the page. You fill the pen by simply dipping the pen’s reservoir into your desired ink bottle and the reservoir draws up the ink within seconds.

The Wren gets its name from its small but mighty size. It’s a handy 80mm in length when capped but it’s posted extends to 120mm – a very comfortable writing size. The aluminium barrel of the pen faceted, whilst the grip section is smooth.

Lots of you have been talking about this pen and encourage us to stock it. So with its high quality, great choice of colours, price point and being environmentally friendlier than a disposable pen there’s certainly a lot to like.
