Taccia Kaku-Tate Urushi Fountain pen

The Kaku-Tate is Taccia’s Limited Edition urushi fountain pen. The barrel, section and cap are all made from ebonite – a material that has been used to make fountain pens for decades due to their useful properties. I’s hardness, durability, light weight and warm touch.

The barrel and cap have been thoughtfully designed with mathematically perfect multifaceted sides (twelve of them in fact) coated with layers of urushi lacquer. Precise sanding has created the duo-tone contrast and highlights along the barrel and cap of the fountain pen.

The Kaku-Tate is a cartridge / converter fountain pen with a bi-colour 14 karat gold nib. The fountain pen is packaged in a velvet lined wooden box and a Taccia pen roll with a converter and two cartridges.
