Scribo La Dotta Labante Fountain Pen

About 50 kilometres south of Bologna there is an outcrop of travertine, a form of limestone.  An impressive cliff is undercut by pools, streams, waterfalls and the famous Labante caves.  The colour of the pools and waterfalls has inspired this wonderful pen.

The mother-of-pearl turquoise resin of the Labante mimic that of the waterfalls that are found at the caves. The 14 or 18ct gold nibs and trim are finished in ruthenium.

Like all La Dotta pens the Labante uses a piston-filling mechanism with an ebonite feeder. The rounded shape of the pen provides a comfortable feel for any writer and the Scribo nibs offer a fantastic writing experience that, as you will know, we speak very highly of.

Each of these pens are handcrafted in Bologna with an incredibly high level of detail and only 119 of each of these pens will be made.
