This series is created for the customer who likes to enjoy the design concepts of maki-e products at a popular price level. The unique colouring of maki-e (originally created only by hand) is reproduced on these popular Yubi Maki-e models using advanced printing techniques. Basic patterns are printed by machine, but, to complete the color art, gold and silver powders are sprinkled individually by hand onto parts of the pattern. The multipen comes with 3 functions: Black & red ballpoint pens and a 0.5mm mechanical pencil. The ballpen refills are the same as the Lamy type M21 refills and so these can be used if the pen runs dry.
