The Souverän series is an elegant and timeless design, a world‐famous classic. The M600 Black-Blue has a striking combination of warm blue with deep black, complemented with golden appointments giving a feeling of royal touch, as classic designs should do.

Producing the Souverän sleeve is an elaborate process, the typical striped material is based on a formula developed specially for Pelikan. It takes a month until the block providing the stripes is finished, where upon the tailor‐made plating is curved and cut into a contour using a natural diamond. The characteristic double rings are then integrated into the cap and barrel with the utmost precision. The writing instrument is then polished until it reaches a brilliant luster.

The fountain pen M600 with piston filling mechanism consists of a 14‐carat bi‐color gold nib with rhodium trim and is available with the nib sizes EF, F, M or B.
