Onoto Excel Black & Sterling Silver Pen

The Onoto Excel Black & Sterling Silver Pen is a lighter and slimmer version of Onoto’s classic Magna. The silver cap and barrel of the Excel are formed of a beautifully lustrous black acrylic primer that is tough and durable, but comfortable to hold. The end of the barrel is stamped with the limited-edition number and, as with all of their pens, the Onoto Excel Black & Sterling Silver Pen carries the words “ONOTO the PEN” and “Made in England” on its barrel.

The cap of the Onoto Excel Black & Sterling Silver Pen has the characteristic Onoto clip bearing their cipher and the distinctive triple-chevron pattern that has been Onoto’s since the 1930s. In addition it has a high-polish sterling silver tassie and a broad silver band bearing the sterling silver hallmark.

The nib fitted to the Onoto Excel Black & Sterling Silver Pen is the slightly smaller number 3 in 18 carat gold, in Fine, Medium, or Broad, but if you choose “Modified Nib“, then Onoto will hand-make a nib to your specifications.
