OMAS and Maserati embody two companies of excellence in their fields, both of them based in Bologna.
To celebrate the co-location of the companies, OMAS collaborated with Maserati to produce this exquisite pen, made of 92.5% sterling silver, and plated in rhodium. The nib is 18ct gold, again plated in rhodium, and is engraved with OMAS’ name. The section of the pen is engraved with Maserati’s famous logo.
The cap tapers toward its top, which is finished with the famous trademark Maserati front radiator grill, and features side air intakes represented in the engraving on the side.
The pen uses a piston filling system and will hold 1.42ml of ink.
The nib is Medium.
It is sheer pleasure to hold this beautiful pen: the engraved finish feels good against the skin, and its sheer weight (45g for the pen, 90g for the pen and cap together) speaks of quality and seriousness.
Omas produced a numbered and Limited Edition of 1200 fountain pens, of which this is number 384.

This is an ex-display model, and has slight scuffing
OMAS ceased manufacturing pens in 2016.
However, we at Write Here! have some very limited stock remaining, including just one of these special-edition fountain pens made by OMAS in conjunction with Maserati, who are, as OMAS was, based in Bologna.
