The Kaweco Piston Sport – AL has been an extremely popular addition for Kaweco, and indeed Write Here. Due to the popularity of this piston filler, Kaweco have decided to release another pen made of plastic rather aluminium – the Kaweco Piston Sport – Classic.
The Kaweco Sport is a classic design with its faceted cap which screws off to extend the length of the pen. Other than being a piston filler rather than a cartridge/converter, one of the main visual differences between the “Sport” and the “Piston Sport Classic” is the useful ink window which can be found near the grip section, reminding the owner of when the pen will need refilling again.
As always with Kaweco the packaging is interesting and attractive, and this cylindrical tube allows you to stand up the pen to display it. Aside from personalising your Kaweco Piston Sport – Classic with your favourite ink, you can also add Kaweco’s slide on clips – a feature you couldn’t have with it’s metal counterpart.
