An interesting collaboration between stationary and art. This creative design by Caran d’Ache and Keith Haring has come together for their shared values in celebrating love and art.

The Caran d’Aache 849 is a modern classic, well know in both ballpoint and pencil. This legend design was first introduced on the market in 1969 and even now decades later is still just as popular.

It’s signature hexagonal body and angled straight clip makes this ballpoint stand out. Made out of durable aluminium, the pen is lightweight and easy to grip, giving a smooth write. For the special edition white, the entire body is white but adorned with black and red illustrations. The red from the illustrated matches the clip and clicker mechanism perfectly, giving the ballpoint a bright shock of colour.

Keith Haring’s artwork was heavily inspired by New York’s graffiti, from white chalk on the subway to paintings on public buildings.
